How guest order tracking works

After checkout, FastQRMenu provides a link tied to the public status record for that order. The page listens for owner status changes without exposing the restaurant's private order details.

Procedure

Complete the workflow in order

Open the tracking link

Use the link from the confirmation screen or prepared WhatsApp message.

Update the order as staff

Change the status from the owner dashboard as the order moves through service.

Confirm the public update

The tracking page should reflect the current public status and update time.

Verification

Confirm the expected result

  • The tracking URL contains the correct order identifier.
  • The order status record exists after checkout.
  • Owner status changes appear on the guest page.
  • No customer note, line-item detail, or private owner data is exposed by the public mirror.
