Manage categories, items, prices, and availability

The public menu is built from active categories and available items. Keep those two publish states correct before troubleshooting the customer view.

Procedure

Complete the workflow in order

Create categories

Use categories to group items in the order guests should browse them.

Add menu items

Set the name, description, price, image, category, and availability for each item.

Control visibility

Deactivate a category or mark an item unavailable when it should disappear from public ordering.

Review the public menu

Open the restaurant link after meaningful edits and confirm the guest view matches the dashboard.

Verification

Confirm the expected result

  • Prices use the restaurant's configured currency.
  • Unavailable items are hidden from the guest flow.
  • Descriptions and images are readable on a phone.
  • The current plan has not reached its menu-item limit.
